Another BCL thing, #9.
I love technology, although I don't like the new dictionary words that are being created.
I love mapquest.com.
I don't understand why wikipedia is promoting google maps.com in their mashup definition. I think mapquest.com is used more often than google.com for maps.
Digital film is great, although I'm still using the point and shoot camera.
...Blogs are great. I'm still amazed that we can post our thoughts for "free" online. Normally, if you were macy's, or any other commercial site, you would have to pay for web space.
I enjoy reading my coworker Robbie's Training Blog. He made his blog name rather close to his real name.

Mashups
With new technology comes new dictionary entries. I never heard of the word 'mashup' until I enrolled in Libraries 2.0. I am not skilled at developing digital film, thus I'm not at the advanced level of using any of the suggested mashup websites. I am enrolled in flickr, and I am continuously learning.

News feeds and useful blogs
Discovery Exercise:
Explore some of the search tools noted above that can help you locate some news feeds.
Create a blog post about your experience. Don’t know what to blog about? Here some questions to think about …
Which method of finding feeds did you find easiest to use? Which Search tool was the easiest for you? Which was more confusing? What kind of useful feeds did you find in your travels? Or what kind of unusual ones did you find? What other tools or ways did you find to locate newsfeeds?
Feedster.com is still down for the month of November. I liked topix.com., it was quite useful. It reminded me of how wonderful the internet is.

RSS feeds
This is my first time subscribing to RSS feeds. I can't believe the title is Really Simple Syndication. I LOVE technology. RSS feeds are wonderful. Everything is so interesting, it is easy to sign up for a lot of articles, but not even have time to read all of them.
RSS is great!

7.5 Habits revisited
It is very easy for me to have fun! I enjoy going to comedy clubs. I always win free tickets for shows that feature the up and coming, yet hardly known comics. I go to support them, and to get out the house.
It's very hard for me to view problems as challenges. I view problems as hostile situations. I intend to change that view to align myself with the 7 1/2 habits.
